FUN FACTS & TIPS:
Pomegranate seeds are easy to remove by cutting the fruit into four or five pieces and submerging them in a large bowl of water. The edible seeds will sink while the white, inedible membrane floats and can be easily skimmed off. The seeds can be eaten raw as a snack or used in salads, relishes, garnishes or desserts. The juice is delicious pure, but can also be boiled down into pomegranate molasses or fermented into pomegranate vinegar. Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, coconut, lemon, grapefruit, orange, apple, pear, honey, almonds, hazelnuts, curry, lamb, chicken and pork are all complementary flavors.
